Business Strike, Jefferson nickels are notoriously rare above MS66; their sharp rims constantly cut into the fields of surrounding coins when they are ejected into the hopper following striking. The 2011 mintage has proven to be a rare exception, with a modest number of MS67s surfacing, no doubt due to the return of Business Strikes to mint sets. Fantastic, nearly pristine surfaces and an incredibly crisp strike from fresh dies. A wonderful Jefferson nickel. Not all modern MS67s are the same; buy a coin you can see close-up!
