1957-D NGC MS67 Washington 25C ~ Exceptional Original Surfaces! (bx11.132)

Totally original and just pulled from a choice original mint set. The surfaces are virtually pristine, and a fine layer of satin frost blankets both seemingly undisturbed sides. Very boldly struck, from sharp dies, and complimented by small bursts of fiery orange and icy blue patination. Amazingly smooth for the grade; coins of this caliber are technically nice enough to be MS68, but that grade is reserved for coins with wild color or blast white frost.
